Midwest Modular Multifamily 2026 brings together developers, lenders, government and community leaders, manufacturers, and industry partners for a focused look at modular construction and its potential for multifamily housing.
Taking place October 29 in Indianapolis from 8:30 AM–1:00 PM, the event will explore the opportunities, challenges, and practical considerations shaping modular development across the Midwest. MBI’s Government Affairs team, Alex Carmack and Andrew Muchnick, will lead a town hall-style discussion on policy trends facing the modular housing industry, alongside sessions covering modular design and project replication, manufacturing, construction innovation and AI, and strategies for bringing greater cost and schedule certainty to multifamily projects.
The morning program will be held at The Caring Place, followed by lunch and a factory tour at Volumod. Attendees may also visit Grace Lane Apartments for an optional self-guided tour and a closer look at modular multifamily construction in practice. Hosted by Restore Hope Indiana, the event provides an opportunity to connect with professionals across development, lending, design, manufacturing, government, and other areas involved in advancing multifamily housing.
